Mike Weiland is the Co-Founder, Owner, and Head of Operations of Blazar Technology Solutions. Currently managing six different federal government contracts, Blazar sources products and services to the government using the most efficient path and process. Mike’s expertise lies in operations and finance having overseen the sale of 1.8 billion dollars in IT government contracts over the last five years. Driven to dream, and an entrepreneur at heart, Mr. Weiland has founded, managed, or been part of the founding team of 7 companies –all of which are still in operation. Over the last 15 years, Mr. Weiland has held positions in federal procurement system operations, finance, planning and development, corporate strategy, and new product development with companies including Mocana Corporation and Alvarez & Associates. Mr. Weiland began his federal procurement career as the Corporate Finance Manager at Sierra Nevada Corporation. With a clear focus in customer centricity, surpassing the status quo, and desire to innovate and inspire, Mr. Weiland, is not one to rest on previous success always looking ahead with optimism and energy—continuously improving, adapting, and innovating creatively build toward the next challenge.
Mr. Weiland holds a B.S. from Santa Clara University and an M.B.A. in Entrepreneurship and Finance from the University of Nevada, Reno,
Mike and his wife, Kaleen, welcomed their first daughter to the world in late 2019; she currently occupies any of his available free time.
